There are two mutually exclusive “affirming” pathways for the young child wishing to transgender
i.e. affirming and reassuring of birth sex
vs affirming of feeling sex,
and only one of them can be right
and only one can be labelled as child abuse.

Celebrate the child, giving praise to God for the gift that He has given to us as well as the gifts He has given to the child and making him/her so special. Loving the child just as they are and who they were created to be, not just for what your child has done although we must give praise for that too – but for who your child is. Yes, jump up and down and get excited with your child giving the praise to God.

Does this sound familiar? Could it be a similar phenomenon to other clusters of aberrant medical behaviour – with a smaller coterie of “real” cases – such as self-cutting, anorexia nervosa, “recovered memory syndrome”, even RSI “repetitive strain injury”?

2017 – A Year of Shame – a Failure to Protect
The Royal Commission into Sexual Abuse has correctly condemned sections of the institutionalised church for its failure to protect. As God’s people we have failed to protect. And as a country we are also now guilty.
We failed to protect against our “little ones being led into sin”.
But in the midst of failure we had a notable “success” – we now have a God’s army of dedicated, prayerful people from all walks of life with multiple magnificent skills and experience.
2018 – A Year of Celebration
As a people of God may it be seen and heard that “the shout of the King” is among us.

But how to have a voice in society in this background of evil in our midst? How to speak against evil in our world when by association we can also be judged guilty? When we have not confronted sin in our fellows within the church? When we have extended “forgiveness” and not changed practices within our churches and not built in protective boundaries and not ensured accountability? When we have failed to protect the vulnerable?

The program also includes fluidity of uniforms and the use of change rooms and toilets based on “gender identity”.
The LGBTI influence on schools coupled with the push for same-sex marriage is a sinister attack on children and marriage and family.
